Who Am I?
I am a Kindergarten teacher turned stay at home mom to 2 children (17 and 14)). My love of photography blossomed after the birth of our first child and has continued to grow ever since. I grew up in this area and am so happy to be here raising a family of my own! Besides photography and my family- I love everything fashion, smashed faced dogs (English and French Bulldogs), high heels and tacos!
What Do I Do?
I am an on location, natural light photographer who has been in business since 2009! I enjoy photographing my subjects outdoors with minimal indoor "studio" shots- with the exception of newborns and young babies, for which I have a small portable studio setup. I aim to create an atmosphere that is comfortable, genuine and will generate a multitude of memories to add to your personal history!
In 2019 I was awarded "Best of Alamo" in the category of Photographers. In 2020, 2018 and 2016, I was awarded by Expertise as one of the "Best Maternity Photographers in San Francisco". I also have the honor working as a volunteer photographer for The Gold Hope Project which provides free photo sessions for pediatric cancer patients.
Throughout my teaching and experience with photography, I have worked with many different types of families and children. I can (and love to!) accommodate children with special needs and would love to tailor a session toward your specific requests. I also love incorporating your family pets.... as they are part of the family too!
Why Do I Do It?
I love photographing babies, children and families, as it captures them in a moment of time that only lasts a short while! Having had so much experience with young children, I have a gentle way with all of their different personalities and an endless amount of patience.....and may have been called "The Baby Whisperer" by a number of clients. ;)
*Please Note- Since I am around young children and babies so often, I am current with my Tdap vaccine (which is of particular importance for newborn sessions).
